4th Of July

This series was shot on the 4th of July, 2026 — some of the most recent work in this portfolio. Last year, in 2025, I found a way to shoot fireworks that I really liked: using a cross-screen filter that turns points of light into a cross-shaped glare. It blends well with the deep blues I usually shoot in.

These were taken out at McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge — I had a great time out there, and the fireworks barely let up all night. I got some of my favorite shots from this set.
