Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Miranda Media Co LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates this website. This policy details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with Washington state law. Miranda Media Co LLC is primarily a photography practice; the sections below are split into what applies to photography inquiries, what applies to digital marketing clients, and what applies to data we handle on behalf of those clients.

2. Photography Inquiries

When you submit an inquiry through our commission form, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number (phone is optional)
  • The type of session you're interested in, your timeline, and any project details you share

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and, if we work together, to communicate about your session. Your inquiry is delivered to us by email through Resend, our email provider — we don't sell it or share it beyond that.

We also collect automated site interaction data (IP addresses, cookies) to keep the site running smoothly.

3. Digital Marketing & Other Services

The following applies only to clients engaging Miranda Media Co LLC for digital marketing, SEO, advertising, or website design/management — not to photography clients.

  • **Information Collected:** First and last name, email address, phone number, business name and industry, and any additional information voluntarily provided. SMS opt-in consent is stored with a timestamp and the method of consent.
  • **Use of Information:** To respond to inquiries, provide marketing/website services, communicate via SMS and email about scheduling and project updates, and (with consent) send occasional marketing promotions.
  • **SMS & Mobile Messaging (A2P 10DLC):** Opt-in is collected via an affirmative checkbox on web forms and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies by project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for assistance. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • **Washington MHMDA:** Clients running health-adjacent campaigns are solely responsible for their own site's compliance.

4. Data We Handle On Behalf of Clients

When we build a website or run advertising for a client, that client's own customers may submit inquiries through forms we build and maintain. We refer to this as Client Data.

  • **What it is:** names, phone numbers, email addresses, the content of the inquiry, and the date and source of the submission.
  • **Whose it is:** the client's. **Our client owns and controls that data.** We handle it only to deliver it to them and to keep a record they can access.
  • **What we do with it:** deliver each inquiry to the client by email, and store it so the client has a durable record of the leads generated for them.
  • **What we don't do:** we do not sell or rent it, we do not use it for our own marketing, and we do not share it with anyone other than the client and the service providers listed below.
  • **Retention:** we retain Client Data for as long as we provide services to that client. On request following the end of an engagement, we provide the client an export and delete our working copies within ninety (90) days, except for copies held in routine backups or required by law.
  • **Requests from individuals:** if you submitted an inquiry to one of our clients and want your information accessed, corrected, or deleted, contact that business directly. They control it. You may also contact us and we will pass the request along and act on their instruction.
  • **Security incidents:** if we become aware of unauthorized access to Client Data in our possession, we notify the affected client without undue delay.

5. Service Providers

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function:

  • **Resend** — sends transactional email, including inquiry notifications and confirmations
  • **Vercel** — hosts our websites and those of our clients, and provides basic analytics
  • **Notion** — stores client lead records
  • **Stripe** — processes payments. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • **Google** — analytics and advertising platforms, where a client engages us for those services

We do not sell personal information. No mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data are shared with any third party for that party's own marketing purposes.

6. Data Security and Handling

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures — including encryption and secure access controls — to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure. We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with Washington state retention laws.

7. Washington State Consumer Rights

Washington state residents have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. We do not collect "Consumer Health Data" as defined under RCW 19.373.

8. AI Disclosure

We use AI tools for creative and operational optimization. We do not sell personal data to third parties for large language model training purposes.
