Seaside 4th Of July

This is from a trip to Seaside on the 4th of July, 2025 — my first time watching fireworks at the coast. It turned out to be a great show with a big turnout, and it's where I discovered how much I enjoy photographing fireworks with a filter that pulls a glare effect off the light. I found 1/15 to 1/30 of a second was the sweet spot for the shot, and I liked pairing the fireworks with the sunset still going in the background.

I stayed the night on a side street in my camper — it took until about 1:30 in the morning for the crowds to finally clear out of town.
